Hypertension
When did you last have your blood pressure checked?
High blood pressure is often a life-long condition but if you can keep it under control, you can reduce your risk of stroke, heart disease, and other conditions. The likelihood of developing high blood pressure increases as you get older and whilst there is often no clear cause of high blood pressure, you are at increased risk if you have a relative with high blood pressure, are overweight, or get too little exercise. High blood pressure rarely has obvious symptoms and the only way of knowing there is a problem is to have your blood pressure measured.
This study may be suitable for you if you are aged between 40 and 65 years of age and:
You would like to have your blood pressure checked, as you think you may be at risk OR
You know you have high blood pressure and are not currently taking any treatment for this
